Position: QA Engineer

Job Overview:
ZeroZilla, a leading technology company, is seeking a skilled and dedicated QA Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through manual testing, functional testing, API testing, web application testing, and UI testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Conduct functional testing to verify that the software meets specified requirements.
- Perform API testing to ensure proper integration and functionality of application programming interfaces.
- Conduct web application testing to validate the performance and functionality of web-based software.
- Conduct UI testing to ensure the user interface is user-friendly, intuitive, and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand software requirements and test scenarios.
- Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on project requirements.
- Report and document software defects in a clear and concise manner.
- Work closely with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in manual testing and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in functional testing, API testing, web application testing, and UI testing.
- Familiarity with test case management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Basic understanding of programming languages and technologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- ISTQB or any relevant testing certification is a plus.
