91Social is a leading company in the digital banking domain, and we are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic QA Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through various testing methodologies, including manual and automation testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of web applications, mobile applications, and server-side systems.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios based on project requirements.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman to verify the functionality and performance of the backend systems.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for web application testing.
- Perform database testing to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand application functionality and provide input for test coverage.
- Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking systems and participate in defect triage meetings.
- Participate in test planning, test design, and test case reviews to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and test automation frameworks.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
- Provide regular status updates on testing progress and escalate issues as necessary.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the banking domain.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman to validate the functionality and performance of backend systems.
- Proficiency in both manual and automation testing.
- Strong experience in web application testing and familiarity with tools like Selenium.
- Knowledge of mobile testing techniques and frameworks.
- Experience in database testing and server-side testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems for defect management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Self-motivated with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
