QA Automation – Python | Remote | 3 – 5 years

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web application testing, proficiency in automation testing frameworks like Pytest, Cypress, Selenium, and experience in API testing (both automation and manual). This role involves working with Python and requires knowledge of OOPs concepts, databases, CI/CD pipelines, and exposure to non-functional testing (Performance, Security, Compliance).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation test frameworks using Pytest, Cypress, Selenium.
• Conduct API testing (automation & manual) to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate effectively with Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests.
• Perform non-functional testing such as Performance, Security, and Compliance.
• Utilize Docker & Kubernetes for testing environments (experience is a plus).
• Maintain adherence to quality assurance industry standards and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and participate in customer interactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) from a reputed college.
• 3+ years of experience as a Test Engineer with a focus on web applications.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks (Pytest, Cypress, Selenium).
• Proficiency in Python or another language like Java or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of OOPs concepts and databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum development.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and customer interaction capabilities.
• Familiarity with quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
• Exposure to Docker & Kubernetes is advantageous.
• Openness to work in shifts as required.
