- Utilize your strong Python scripting skills to design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web services and applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, specifications, and objectives, translating them into comprehensive and effective test plans.
- Automate web services testing, including ETL/API testing, using Python-based tools and frameworks.
- Leverage your experience with microservices architecture to ensure the quality and performance of complex software solutions.
- Implement and enhance Test Automation processes and tools, leveraging frameworks such as ROBOT or BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
- Participate in requirement understanding, test plan creation, script development, validation, and signoff of change requests.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to validate software functionality and identify defects.
- Provide technical expertise in verifying and validating software, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in container and virtualization technologies, contributing to the optimization of testing environments.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders in a team-oriented environment to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing insights and suggestions to enhance the software development and testing lifecycle.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Expertise in Python scripting, with a focus on designing and developing automation test scripts.
- Strong understanding of web services and ETL/API testing methodologies.
- Exposure to microservices architecture, ensuring the quality and performance of complex software solutions.
- Familiarity with Test Automation processes and tools, including frameworks like ROBOT or BDD.
- Proficiency in functional, integration, and regression testing techniques.
- Solid knowledge of container and virtualization technologies, contributing to efficient testing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
