Job Summary: PwC is looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a focus on JavaScript to contribute to our software testing efforts. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation testing, experience in developing test plans, test cases, and procedures for web applications, and a deep understanding of automation platform design and development. - Develop and implement automation test plans, test cases, and procedures for web applications.
- Design and develop an automation platform, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Exhibit proficiency in scripting languages, particularly JavaScript with Node.js (Primary requirement).
- Possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience with programming languages, particularly JavaScript.
- Demonstrate understanding and experience with the test automation framework BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
- Experience with Performance Testing is preferred.
- Utilize automation tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, and UFT to enhance testing efficiency.
- Demonstrate an understanding of databases and SQL queries (preferred).
- Strong experience with Web Driver I/O, Maven, and TestNG.
- Work extensively with BDD framework using Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in B.E./B. Tech/ MCA or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience of 4 – 6 years in automation testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript programming language, particularly with Node.js.
- Strong development/scripting skills in Web-driver compatible languages.
- Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks, particularly BDD.
- Experience with Performance Testing is preferred.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, and UFT.
- Understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries (preferred).
- Expertise in Web Driver I/O, Maven, and TestNG.
- Hands-on experience with BDD framework using Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
