Position: QA Automation Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript, Node.js, AEM, and Cypress.
- Perform end-to-end testing of AEM-based applications, ensuring the functionality, performance, and stability of the software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA testers, to understand requirements and define test cases.
- Work closely with the development team to identify and address any software defects or issues discovered during testing.
- Develop and maintain test frameworks, libraries, and tools to streamline the testing process.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior QA team members.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automated testing methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrate and explain the developed frameworks and functions to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the QA team to enhance and improve the overall testing strategy and processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on testing AEM-based applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, AEM, and Cypress for automated testing.
- Familiarity with other scripting languages like Java.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
- Experience with other automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium and Protractor is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Retail and e-commerce domain knowledge is a plus.
