Location: REMOTE
We are seeking a talented and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This is a remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with international clients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data-related products, including data quality, data migration, and data ETL pipelines.
- Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to identify defects and ensure software functionality.
- Utilize automation frameworks such as Selenium, Robot, or Cucumber to create and maintain automated test suites.
- Use your knowledge of Java or Python programming languages to debug and troubleshoot data pipelines.
- Perform thorough testing of SQL queries and databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Gain expertise in the AWS ecosystem to test applications hosted on cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve identified issues.
- Document test results, track defects, and communicate issues to the development team.
- Stay updated with the latest QA tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Adhere to project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in QA automation testing.
- Intermediate to fluent English skills, enabling effective communication with US customers during interviews and conversations.
- Ability to work standard daytime hours with up to 1 hour overlap with CA/US in the evening (prior to EST).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in testing data-related products.
- Experience working with automation frameworks like Selenium, Robot, or Cucumber.
- Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages to debug data pipelines.
- Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem and understanding of cloud-based testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Stable internet connection and a respectful/appropriate background setup for live sessions.
