Key Duties/Responsibilities:

As a QA Analyst, you will play a vital role in automating regression and functional test cases, contributing to the reduction of overall cycle time for the project. Your primary focus will be on automating test cases for applications under the digital-first initiative, which is of the highest priority for the bank.

Responsibilities:

1. Understanding the Current Process: Gain a clear understanding of the existing testing process and requirements.
2. Automation Framework Development: Develop and maintain the automation framework using Selenium, Page Object Model design pattern, Maven, TestNG, and Python.
3. Handling Duplicate and Dynamic Objects: Manage duplicate and dynamic objects using index property and Regular expressions while finding advanced xpaths.
4. Test Data Creation: Create test data for Data-Driven Testing with Selenium.
5. Strong Programming Concepts: Possess a deep understanding of core Java and Python concepts, such as Collections, file handling, and Object-Oriented Programming Principles.
6. Selenium Web Driver and TestNG: Demonstrate hands-on experience in designing test scripts using Selenium Web Driver, Java, and TestNG annotations.
7. Parameterization and Synchronization: Implement parameterization and synchronization techniques to ensure efficient test execution.
8. Source Control: Be well-versed with source control tools like GIT to manage code repositories effectively.
9. Coding Standards: Follow coding standards and best practices to maintain clean and maintainable code.
10. Basic Database Knowledge: Have a basic understanding of SQL queries for database-related testing.
11. Apache Poi: Familiarity with Apache Poi for reading, writing, and updating Excel operations.
12. Readiness to Learn: Display enthusiasm for learning new technologies and tools to maximize automation capabilities across domains.

Knowledge/Experience:

Essential: 3 to 6 years of experience in Test Automation using Java/Selenium.

Skills (Technical Skills):

Essential: Proficiency in programming and API test automation.

Desirable: Knowledge of Python.

Qualifications (Degree/Certifications):

Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) or Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) or equivalent.
