Position: Python QA Automation Engineer
Location: Bangalore, India
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automation test cases using Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
- Design and implement test automation frameworks and tools.
- Conduct functional, performance, and security testing for networking protocols.
- Perform testing for Wifi/WLAN (IEEE 802.1x series), L2/L3 networking protocols, and networking security protocols.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues and ensure product quality.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on test coverage, defects, and overall product quality.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA automation and networking technologies.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on automation best practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Python QA Automation Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Python automation testing, including developing and executing automation test cases.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including Wifi/WLAN (IEEE 802.1x series), L2/L3 networking protocols, and networking security protocols (L4-L7).
- Familiarity with Linux networking protocols and concepts.
- Experience with Wifi/WLAN testing tools and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python.
- Knowledge of ReactJS and full-stack development is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
