Job Overview: As a Python Automation QA at APPIT Software Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through the implementation of automation testing strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and execute test cases, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and make a significant impact on our product quality.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and relevant automation frameworks.
- Execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, and work closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolutions.
- Perform manual testing when necessary, including exploratory and regression testing.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to integrate automated testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and diagnose issues, providing valuable insights to drive improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and trends in automation testing.
- Contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies, processes, and frameworks.
- Assist in mentoring and guiding junior QA team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Pytest, or similar.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ISTQB or similar software testing certification is a plus.
