Position: ML Test Engineer
Location: Hyderabad
We Cientra, an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, is a leading technology solutions provider specializing in machine learning and embedded device testing. We are currently seeking experienced ML Test Engineers with 1 to 5 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Python programming skills to design and develop test scripts and automation frameworks for machine learning models and algorithms.
- Understand and apply machine learning principles and techniques to ensure the quality and reliability of ML-based applications.
- Perform testing on embedded devices, specifically Linux and Android-based platforms.
- Maintain and manage the device farm, ensuring smooth operations and availability of test devices.
- Conduct device bring-up activities, including loading builds and verifying their functionality.
- Monitor and triage automated runs on a daily basis, analyzing test results and identifying issues.
- Prepare and send reports summarizing the test results and findings to the relevant stakeholders.
- Triage issues found as part of daily continuous integration (CI) runs and communicate them to the development team, providing detailed logs and information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution and improvements to the testing process.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in machine learning, embedded device testing, and automation tools.
Skills Required:
- 1 to 5 years of experience as an ML Test Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Python programming for test script development and automation.
- Strong understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms, and techniques.
- Exposure to embedded device testing on Linux and Android platforms.
- Experience in device farm maintenance, including build loading and ensuring smooth automated runs.
- Ability to triage issues, analyze logs, and communicate findings effectively.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
