- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with JavaScript or Java.
- Design, execute, and maintain automated test suites for both web applications and APIs to ensure product functionality, stability, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and improve testing processes.
- Perform backend testing using SQL commands to verify data integrity and ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend systems.
- Utilize CSS and XPath to accurately locate and interact with web elements during automated testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation framework and testing methodologies.
- Investigate, document, and report software defects and issues, providing detailed information to assist in bug resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain test scripts in a code repository such as GIT or Bitbucket.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging automation testing trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven 3-4 years of experience in automation testing using Selenium with JavaScript or Java.
- Strong expertise in automated testing of web applications and APIs.
- Solid understanding of backend testing principles, including SQL commands for data validation.
- Proficiency in CSS and XPath for precise web element identification.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems like GIT or Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
