As an IVI Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our automotive software solutions.

- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and software architecture, ensuring a comprehensive grasp of the project’s scope and objectives.
- Test Case Development and Automation: Design and develop effective test cases to verify software functionalities. Leverage automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and scalability.
- Test Case Execution: Perform rigorous testing against software requirements and software architecture, verifying that all aspects of the software meet the specified criteria.
- SOME/IP and Diagnostics: Define the test strategy and planning for SOME/IP and Diagnostics. Develop test cases and execute them to validate the functionality of these critical components.
- Smoke Testing: Conduct daily smoke tests on the software builds to ensure the basic functionality and stability of the product. Report any issues promptly to the development team.
- Test Reporting and Defect Tracking: Generate comprehensive test reports, documenting test results and providing clear insights to stakeholders. Track defects throughout the testing process and collaborate with the development team for timely resolution.
- Supportive Functions: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing insights and suggestions to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
- IVI & Cluster Domain Expertise: Possess a good understanding of In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) and Cluster Domain requirements, and apply this knowledge to develop effective test cases and ensure a high level of software quality.
- Hands-On Test Development and Execution: Demonstrate expertise in test development, test execution, and efficient defect logging and verification.
- SDLC and Agile Development: Have exposure to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience in Agile development methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in software testing, with a focus on IVI and Cluster Domain testing in the automotive industry.
- Strong proficiency in test case development, test automation, and test execution.
- Experience with SOME/IP and Diagnostics testing is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with IVI and Cluster Domain requirements and functionalities.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Prior experience in the automotive domain is a plus.
