Job Summary:

Spruce InfoTech, Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Testing professional with a background in payments domain. The ideal candidate will have 7 or more years of hands-on experience and will be responsible for conducting comprehensive automated testing using a range of tools and technologies. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading multinational corporation (MNC), offering the chance to work on exciting projects in the payments domain and contribute to the advancement of our testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of payments-related software applications.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals, to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies.
  • Utilize primary technical skills including Automation testing, Java, Selenium, and Cucumber to create and maintain automated test cases.
  • Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of payments solutions.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across different phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to facilitate their resolution.
  • Contribute to the design and enhancement of automated testing frameworks, tools, and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of the payments domain and incorporate domain-specific testing requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, sharing best practices and promoting the adoption of industry-standard testing techniques.

Key Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in automation testing, with a focus on payments domain.
  • Proficiency in Automation testing tools such as Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
  • Strong understanding of test methodologies, quality assurance practices, and software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working within Agile teams.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, both written and verbal.
