Position: Software Engineer QA

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts, to understand software requirements and ensure the highest level of software quality.
- Develop, implement, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Conduct manual testing of web and desktop applications to identify and report defects, ensuring a bug-free user experience.
- Utilize automation testing tools and frameworks to design and execute automated test scripts.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Continuously enhance and maintain the existing automation framework, incorporating new features and technologies as needed.
- Collaborate with the development team to investigate and troubleshoot reported defects, ensuring their timely resolution.
- Document and track software defects, providing clear and detailed reports for developers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the improvement of the software development lifecycle by suggesting process enhancements and quality initiatives.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Four-year degree in a technical or engineering field. Minimum B.E. or MCA.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Solid knowledge of manual testing techniques and methodologies for web and desktop applications.
- Experience in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Physical requirements include sitting for long periods of time.
