Automation Testing Engineer | India | 3-6 years

Job Description:

Infosys is hiring experienced professionals with 3-6 years of expertise in automation testing across various locations in India. As an Automation Testing Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions through automated testing methodologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement automation test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
2. Execute automated tests to identify software defects and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
3. Collaborate closely with development teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
4. Analyze test results and work with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues and propose solutions.
5. Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

1. 3-6 years of experience in automation testing roles.
2. Strong proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, etc.).
3. Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
4. Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
5. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
