Job Description: As an Automation Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design and implementation of automated testing processes. You will be responsible for developing robust test scripts, executing test cases, and identifying defects to improve the overall efficiency of our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, Cucumber BDD, and TestNG.
  • Design and implement a structured automation testing framework to support the testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create detailed test plans.
  • Conduct system testing and software quality assurance based on best practices, methodologies, and industry standards.
  • Work with Enterprise bug tracking systems, such as JIRA and Confluence, to report, track, and resolve defects.
  • Utilize SQL queries to perform database testing and ensure data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Continuously enhance the automation testing process by exploring new tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Analyze test results and provide valuable feedback to improve the software development process.
  • Work in the 2nd shift (1 pm – 10 pm) to support global project requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong English communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 3.5 to 10 years in automation testing using Selenium.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming and TestNG framework for test script development.
  • Extensive knowledge of Cucumber BDD to create and manage feature files and step definitions.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise bug tracking systems such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Ability to design and implement a structured automation testing framework.
  • Good exposure to SQL queries for database testing and data validation.
  • Willingness to work in the 2nd shift to support global project requirements.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
