Role Overview: As an Automation Tester (Mobile Testing) at LTIMindtree, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications through robust automation testing practices. Your expertise in Appium Framework and mobile automation testing, coupled with your attention to detail, will contribute to the enhancement of our software quality and user experience.

- Review software requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios that cover various use cases.
- Utilize the Appium Framework to design, develop, and execute automated tests for mobile applications.
- Conduct mobile automation testing for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring the functionality and user experience are of the highest quality.
- Execute tests on software functionality, including feature testing, sanity test-suite, regression testing, and integration testing.
- Perform exploratory testing from an end-user’s perspective to identify potential issues and enhance user satisfaction.
- Analyze test results, including database impacts, errors, bugs, and usability issues, and collaborate with the development team for resolutions.
- Prepare detailed reports on all aspects of software testing, providing insights and recommendations to the design team.
- Interact closely with the Product team to thoroughly understand product requirements and user expectations.
- Participate in design reviews, providing valuable input on requirements, product design, and potential challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the overall quality of the mobile applications.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging practices in mobile automation testing to continually enhance testing methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an Automation Tester with 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong expertise in the Appium Framework for mobile automation testing.
- Proficiency in mobile automation testing for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Experience executing tests on software functionality, regression, and integration.
- Familiarity with exploratory testing methodologies from an end-user’s perspective.
- Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with the development team for resolutions.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills to provide detailed insights on testing outcomes.
- Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and report testing progress.
- Experience participating in design reviews and offering input on requirements and design.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- ISTQB certification or relevant testing certifications are a plus.
