- Experience with test management tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies and plans that align with project requirements.
- Define testing objectives, scope, and success criteria.
- Test Automation:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Select appropriate testing tools and frameworks to support automation efforts.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results.
- Manual Testing (if applicable):
- Conduct manual testing when necessary to verify software functionality.
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
- Performance Testing (if applicable):
- Plan and execute performance tests to evaluate system scalability and stability.
- Analyze performance data and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Regression Testing:
- Implement and maintain regression test suites to ensure software stability across releases.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure software quality.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Document test results, defects, and testing progress.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing technologies.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Tester or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of manual testing principles and methodologies (if applicable).
- Experience with performance testing (if applicable).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
