Key Responsibilities:

As an Automation Tester/Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Test Plan Creation: Understand functional and non-functional feature requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
API Automation: Build automation test suites for APIs using NodeJs (TypeScript) or Java with SuperTest or RestAssured.
Front-end Testing: Perform test automation for front-end web applications using tools like Selenium or NodeJs, with WebdriverIO. Familiar with data validation testing and integration testing.
BDD Framework: Utilize your experience and good understanding of the BDD Cucumber framework.
Integration Testing: Work with integration patterns and messaging technologies, including Kafka.
CI/CD Implementation: Have a good understanding and experience with CI/CD tooling to implement and integrate test suites.
Tool Familiarity: Be experienced with tools like GitHub, Jira, CodeFresh, Confluence, and required testing tools like Postman.
Database Testing: Conduct database-related testing activities, including test data preparation.
Mocking/Stubbing: Use mocking/stubbing or virtualization tools, with a preference for Mountebank.
Containerization: Be experienced with containerization technologies like Docker.

Good to Have:

Experience with performance testing using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, or K6.
Experience with setting up contract testing using tools like PACT or similar tools.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and skills:

A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in automation testing.
Proficiency in building automation test suites for APIs using NodeJs (TypeScript) or Java with SuperTest or RestAssured.
Experience in front-end web application test automation using Selenium or NodeJs, with WebdriverIO.
Familiarity with data validation testing and integration testing.
Good understanding and experience with the BDD Cucumber framework.
