Job Summary:

As an Automation Tester at Cygnet Infotech, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automation testing. You will work with a team of experienced professionals to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, TestNG, and JUnit. Your experience and expertise will be vital in identifying defects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Automation Testing: Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, TestNG, and JUnit to validate software functionality and identify defects.
  2. Test Scenario and Test Case Design: Create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to ensure thorough test coverage.
  3. Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and track them to resolution.
  4. Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to validate that software updates and changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
  5. Test Reporting: Document test results and defects in a clear and concise manner, and provide regular status updates to the team and stakeholders.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation testing process and methodologies to enhance overall testing efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of relevant experience in automation testing.
  2. Proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium.
  3. Strong programming skills in Java for test automation.
  4. Familiarity with TestNG and JUnit for test case execution and reporting.
  5. Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
  6. Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  8. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
