Role Overview:
As an Automation Tester at Anthology, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibilities will include creating and executing manual test cases, as well as developing UI automation test scripts using the Robot Framework. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, execute test cases, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

- Develop and execute comprehensive manual test cases to validate the functionality and performance of software applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation test scripts using the Robot Framework.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand testing requirements and provide input on test strategies.
- Identify, document, and report software defects and anomalies through detailed defect reports.
- Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of the automation test suite, ensuring coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute regression testing to ensure that software updates and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Participate in the Agile development process, attending sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing efforts.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.
- Proven expertise in manual testing methodologies and techniques.
- Extensive experience in UI automation testing using the Robot Framework.
- Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python, for test automation.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.
