As an Automation Test Engineer at Virtue Software Technologies Pvt Ltd, you will be a key player in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, from test automation and API testing to data processing and cloud integration.

- Selenium & Java Expertise: Utilize your expertise in Selenium and Java to develop and execute automated test scripts effectively.
- API Testing with Rest Assured: Conduct testing of APIs using Rest Assured to ensure the functionality and performance of data APIs.
- Data Platform and ETL Testing: Work with Data Platforms, MDM, Data Pipelines, and ETL data processing to validate data accuracy and quality.
- SQL Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in SQL queries and data creation/validation to support data testing.
- Azure and AWS Knowledge: Experience in Azure and/or AWS ecosystems is desired to work effectively within cloud environments.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Work with CI/CD pipelines, integrate test automation into the development process, and ensure continuous integration.
- Various Types of Testing: Apply your knowledge of various types of testing, including Unit, Integration, API, Smoke, System, and Performance testing.
- Test Planning and Management: Contribute to test planning, test data management, automated and manual test execution, and utilize test management tools for complex data and cloud landscapes.
- Data Warehousing: Leverage your knowledge of Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, ETL tools, and data warehouse architectures for testing.
- QA Methodologies: Apply QA methodologies, lifecycle, and processes to maintain software quality.
Qualifications:
- 3-10 years of experience in software testing, depending on the role.
- Strong expertise in Selenium and Java for automation testing.
- Proficiency in API testing using Rest Assured.
- Experience in data platform, MDM, data pipelines, ETL data processing, and data APIs.
- Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation.
- Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS ecosystems is desired.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and in-sprint test automation.
- Extensive experience in various types of testing (Unit, Integration, API, Smoke, System, Performance, etc.).
- Knowledge of test planning, test data management, automated and manual test execution, and test management tools.
- Familiarity with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, ETL tools, and data warehouse architectures is preferred.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, lifecycle, and processes.
