Job Description:

Join our team as an Automation Test Engineer at a leading manufacturing MNC. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Python. You will collaborate closely with QA Engineers to devise effective testing strategies, analyze test results, and ensure high-quality deliverables through both automated and manual testing approaches.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
• Analyze system specifications and collaborate with QA Engineers to devise robust test strategies and plans.
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and promptly report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Troubleshoot issues and conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and methodologies.

Desired Skills:

• 3-6 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer, with a strong background in data analysis and testing.
• Proficiency in Python is essential; familiarity with other scripting languages is advantageous.
• Experience with Selenium for Web Automation, requests for API automation, and Pandas for Data Science is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Basic knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD tools and ability to construct basic SQL queries.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
