As a Senior Automation Engineer specializing in Cypress, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. This is a full-time position, and we are looking for candidates with 3-6 years of relevant experience who are passionate about automation testing and are ready to take their careers to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, automate, execute, and debug test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and TypeScript to validate the functionality of web applications.
- Execute test suites in CI/CD pipelines, generate detailed test reports, and analyze results to facilitate corresponding fixes and improvements.
- Validate and document the completion of testing and collaborate with development teams to address identified issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to test planning activities.
- Continuously enhance and maintain the test automation framework to improve test efficiency and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation testing and implement best practices in the organization.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Cypress using JavaScript/TypeScript for web UI automation.
- Proficient in web application testing and the testing lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of backend API testing and a good knowledge of how the web works.
- Experience in REST API automation is a plus.
- Knowledge of mobile app automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with any test management tool to organize and track test cases and results.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working with JIRA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to testing.
