Responsibilities:

As an Automation Test Engineer at Allegis Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team and other stakeholders to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
  2. Test Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
  3. Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts and report test results, identifying and documenting defects as necessary.
  4. Continuous Improvement: Participate in test automation process improvement initiatives, ensuring the adoption of best practices and tools.
  5. Bug Tracking: Track defects using defect management tools and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  6. Test Data Management: Create and maintain test data required for automated testing processes.
  7. Test Environment Setup: Set up and configure test environments for different testing phases.
  8. Test Reporting: Prepare and present test progress reports to project stakeholders and management.
  9. Collaborative Approach: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless testing process.
  10. Test Documentation: Maintain clear and organized test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test results.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing or Java Development.
  2. Automation Testing: Strong expertise in test automation using industry-leading tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
  3. Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java programming is highly desirable for this role.
  4. Testing Concepts: Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  5. Career Break: Candidates with a career break of 6 months to 1 year are encouraged to apply.
