Job Summary:

Hexaware Technologies is seeking experienced professionals with a background in Automation Testing, particularly in Selenium. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in systems testing and software QA best practices, methodologies, and techniques. The role requires expertise in Selenium, Java, Cucumber BDD, and TestNG. Additionally, experience with enterprise bug tracking systems like JIRA and Confluence is essential. The successful candidate will be capable of designing and developing structured testing frameworks, possess good exposure to SQL queries, and demonstrate effective English communication skills. This role offers a hybrid work mode, combining remote and on-site work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, Cucumber BDD, and TestNG to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop a structured automation testing framework that adheres to best practices.
  • Utilize enterprise bug tracking systems such as JIRA and Confluence to report, track, and manage defects and issues.
  • Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data to validate software functionality.
  • Conduct thorough systems testing, regression testing, and performance testing to identify and address software defects.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to perform database testing and ensure data integrity.
  • Participate in test planning, test design, and test strategy discussions to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide regular updates on testing progress and results.
  • Collaborate with peers and mentor junior team members to share knowledge and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3.5 to 12 years of relevant experience in Automation Testing, with a focus on Selenium.
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium, Java, Cucumber BDD, and TestNG.
  • Familiarity with enterprise bug tracking systems such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience in designing and developing structured testing frameworks.
  • Good exposure to SQL queries for database testing.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
