Position: Automation QA Engineer

Location: Sama Savali, Vadodara, Gujarat

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and building automation frameworks: Develop and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks, including Hybrid and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks, to support efficient and effective automated testing.
  • Handling OOPs concepts: Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and best practices to create reusable and modular automation scripts and frameworks.
  • Implementing and maintaining automation scripts: Write, execute, and maintain automation scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies to validate software functionality and identify defects.
  • Working with automation tools: Utilize automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver to automate test cases and perform regression testing.
  • Collaborating with development and testing teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and manual testers, to ensure a smooth integration of automation into the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Conducting test analysis and reporting: Analyze test results, identify and document defects, and communicate findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Continuously improving testing processes: Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the automation testing process.
  • Keeping up with industry trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools, methodologies, and best practices to ensure the adoption of industry-standard techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of professional experience as an Automation QA Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in building automation frameworks, including Hybrid and BDD frameworks.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and languages such as Java.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver.
  • Familiarity with software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience with build automation tools like Maven is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
