Greetings from Lancesoft! We are currently hiring for the position of Associate Technical Lead QA. If you have strong experience in performance testing (with a focus on JMeter) and automation testing (with a focus on Selenium), along with excellent programming skills in Java or C++, we invite you to apply for this role. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 3 years of lead experience and experience in the banking domain is an added advantage. Experience in performance testing cloud-based applications, specifically Azure, is required. The position is based in Bangalore, with work-from-office (WFO) requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Performance Testing: Utilize your strong experience in performance testing, with a focus on JMeter, to design, create, execute, and analyze performance tests. Work closely with multiple product teams to understand their requirements and performance goals. Recommend performance tuning based on test results.
- Automation Testing: Apply your expertise in automation testing, specifically with Selenium, to design and develop automated test scripts. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the development process. Ensure the reliability and scalability of the automation framework.
- Programming Skills: Utilize your strong programming skills in Java or C++ to write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code for test automation. Apply object-oriented programming principles and design patterns to create robust test scripts and frameworks.
- Lead Experience: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of QA engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and project managers, to ensure successful test planning, execution, and delivery. Mentor junior team members and promote best practices.
- Banking Domain (Advantageous): Possess experience in the banking domain, which will be an added advantage. Familiarity with banking systems, regulations, and processes. Ability to understand and address domain-specific challenges in testing.
- Performance Testing of Cloud-Based Applications (Azure): Experience in performance testing cloud-based applications, specifically in an Azure environment. Understanding of cloud architecture and performance considerations in a distributed system.
Requirements:
- Experience: The ideal candidate should have 7 to 9 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on performance testing and automation testing.
- Performance Testing (JMeter): Strong experience in performance testing using JMeter. Familiarity with performance testing methodologies, load testing, stress testing, and capacity planning. Ability to design and execute complex performance test scenarios.
- Automation Testing (Selenium): Proficient in automation testing using Selenium. Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices. Experience in designing and developing automated test scripts for web applications.
- Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Java or C++. Ability to write efficient and reusable code for test automation. Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Lead Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in a lead role, managing a team of QA engineers. Ability to provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the team. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Banking Domain (Advantageous): Experience in the banking domain will be an added advantage. Familiarity with banking systems, regulations, and processes.
- Performance Testing of Cloud-Based Applications (Azure): Experience in performance testing cloud-based applications, specifically in an Azure environment. Knowledge of cloud architecture, scalability, and performance considerations.
