Primary Skills
• Expert HTML skills, ability to hand-code websites with complex CSS/LESS/SASS
• Expert in Responsive Web design and development
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
• Able to understand technical guidelines and write code to company standards
• Strong experience in authoring for web pages for compatibility in modern browsers (Edge, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)
• Attention to small details is a MUST
Secondary Skills
• Experience with .NET, IIS and Windows hosting
• Section 508/WCAG compliance experience
• Basic AJAX knowledge
• Working knowledge of Visual Studio or similar IDE
• Subversion (SVN) and GIT version control experience
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Create websites, microsites and landing pages
• Integrate designs and back-end functionality to create compelling web experience
• Assist with testing, defect tracking and debugging of work-in-process
• Collaborate with designers, software engineers and information architects on new web experiences
• Ensure authored code is cross-browser/platform/OS compatible
• Update proprietary content management system
• Test deliverables for compliance and ADA (section 508) usability guidelines
• Provide status and project updates to project and resource managers on projects
