Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Write and execute test cases for development of new features, change requests or defect fixing based on user stories or business requirements.
- Develop and execute test cases using tools like Postman, SoapUI or curl for testing RESTful APIs exposed by microservices and maintain them.
- Develop, execute, and analyse performance tests using tools like JMeter.
- Deployment and testing on local or testing environments.
- Providing inputs for documentation
- Troubleshoot or debug field issues as and when required.
- Keep Jira and Confluence updated as per established practices.
Primary Technical Skills – Mandatory
Manual testing, Automation testing, Basics of SDLC, STLC, Defect Life cycle, Test Plan, Test Phases, Linux and SQL, Agile methodology, TestNG Selenium, Maven, Git.
Secondary Technical Skills – Good to have.Hands on JMeter and Performance testing will be added advantage.Candidate Profile
- BE/BTech/MCA/MSc
- Previous relevant work experience in established software companies, technology centres of Banks, Financial Institutions, Telecom Operators
