Role: Functional Tester

Location: Bangalore

Job Description:

Minimum 2-4 years relevant experience in software testing in Wealth Management banking domain.
Test delivery (Functional test, System integration tests, Regression tests, Test automation, Performance tests).
System integration testing, User acceptance testing – tests support process
Manual Functional testing with various techniques
Integration testing
System Integration testing
End to End testing
Hands-on experience in writing test cases for complex projects, test data preparation and test execution.
Hands on experience in writing test cases using technical specification documents.
Test cases optimization to achieve coverage and quality.
Coordination with various teams on testing activities (understanding application / domain / requirements, test cases writing, execution and defects).
Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Performing requirements analysis.
Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and
Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Reporting to test manager on the test activities progress and data gathering to generate metrics.

Required Skills:

A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
Hands on analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Hands on batch processing and reporting application testing
Hands on experience navigating through UI for vendor application testing
Good understanding and familiarity developing SQL scripts to test database.
Should have strong knowledge of executing simple queries to validate data
Advantageous to know scripts using joins for more than one table and databases
Understanding of Agile practices
Batch Applications
Client and Financial information in WM or Private banking setting
Knowledge on Wealth Management / Investment Banking Domain.
Experience of working in a product development / delivery environment would be ideal but not mandatory.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
A track record of following through on commitments.
