Job Description
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Read and understand requirement & solution documents.
- Prepare & Review Test cases, Test scenarios
- Test Execution, Defect reporting, Defect Analysis & Tracking till closure
- Simulation & Triage of issues raised by customers
- Address functional queries from various stakeholders
- Follow testing plan/schedule & adhere to quality processes
- Should be able to provide production support whenever needed.
Required Skills: TP3 – 5-8
Desirable
- Knowledge of the GPP and/or Payments domain is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of payments domain with Mass pay / Fed Chips / HV.
- Experience in testing software applications/packages in the payments domain.
- Experience in testing software applications/packages in the banking domain.
- Good SQL and UNIX knowledge. Knowledge of OS – AIX, Linux & Solaris is a plus.x`
- Should have an understanding of SQL and UNIX.
- Should be aware of the Testing process, SDLC software development life cycle, Agile and Waterfall models
- Good to have Test estimation and planning experience
- Knowledge of build deployment, QA environment maintenance, and configuration is preferable.

- Should have used tools like Jira and Zephyr for bug tracking & test management
- Should know different defect tracking tools.

- Strong knowledge of SWIFT, ISO 20022 message is a must.
- Experience in Web service testing using Soap UI tool.
- Exposure to client support and automation.

- Should be able to perform Test Analysis, Test case preparation, and Reviews and Test execution
- Ability to do triage & deep analysis of defects
- Good team and interpersonal skills.
- Should work independently.
- Must have good communication skills – verbal & written.
- Should Perform Review of test cases – peer review.
- Able to provide Pre L0, L0, and L1 efforts.
- Able to Review test cases – peer review.
- Experience in documentation is an advantage
