Job Responsibilities

Job Title: GCP Lead Data Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities

  • 12 Years total IT experience with 4 of relevant professional experience
  • Solid experience and understanding of any large scale migration and operationalization of data warehousing BigData DataLake and analytics platform to GCP is a must
  • Candidate should have a broad set of technology skills across their areas and can demonstrate the ability to design right solutions with appropriate combination of Google Cloud and 3rd party technologies for deploying on Google Cloud
  • At least 1 year of hands on experience on GCP cloud data implementation project experience BigQuery Cloud Storage Cloud Composer Dataflow Data Catalog etc
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with developing software code in language such as Java Python Unix Shell and SQL
  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing and deploying large scale distributed data processing system with technologies such as Oracle Teradata Hadoop Spark and NoSQL
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with any ETL tools such as Informatica Talend DataStage AbInitio preferred Google Cloud Platform certification such as Cloud Data Engineer Associate or Architect highly preferable
