The purpose of this position is to plan, develop, and improve the execution of QA practices. This includes website testing, mobile browser testing, content editor testing, and validation of back-end services. In this role, you will estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities. You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved. Responsibilities The ability to run and verify functional testing using different types of technology and tools (ex: RESTful/SOAP web services, batch applications) CMS testing responsibilities: reviewing and validating components for online content Participate in daily huddles, sprint planning, sprint demos, sprint review and retrospective, and project retrospectives for assigned initiatives Designs test scenarios and scripts, executes test cases, compares results to functional and non-functional requirements Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with business users Test and evaluate the performance of HTML responsive design websites including mobile browser testing to ensure sites function properly cross-platforms Can identify what can be leveraged from automation versus manual testing Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution Qualifications Experience with functional web development testing Experience with Content Management Systems Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology Knowledge of best practices and the competition to improve processes and procedures Proficient in developing SQL queries Excellent communication skills Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
