The bank is an international organization dedicated to providing financing, advice, and research to developing nations to aid their economic advancement. The bank predominantly acts as an organization that attempts to fight poverty by offering developmental assistance to middle- and low-income countries. Our client is a provider of financial and technical assistance to individual countries around the globe. The bank considers itself a unique financial institution that sets up partnerships to reduce poverty and support economic development. Project specific: This project plans to address the needs around Integrated Management Reporting, Corporate Scorecards, Departmental KPI’s and other critical business metrics which are produced and presented to the Management Team (MT) on a periodic basis or on demand. This has become a priority given the new 3-year target setting for keeping a track of the long term 2030 goals and reflecting the reality of doing business in highly challenging areas .Currently, there is no automated system which provides such integrated info and this project lays the groundwork for building the following capabilities:• An interactive solution capable of automating Client’s Corporate Scorecard and Departmental KPI’s that are now expected to be reported on a frequent basis and the current process is highly manual, with inputs coming from several corporate support functions. As part of this project, we intend to standardize the data collection requirements and provide automated scorecards/dashboards for access to this information on a corporate visualization platform.• In addition, there are various cuts of this information that are generated and sent monthly to the CEO’s offices which are also a time-consuming and difficult to produce.• Every operational manager should have automated and consistent, cross-domain, line-of-sight on key operational metrics from KPIs to Portfolio and Profitability to key risk and performance metricsBy implementing these capabilities we will create standardized corporate BI products which can be accessed from a central location and alleviate risks associated with manual processing of such information, provide meaningful insights into key operational metrics sliced/diced by Region/Industry etc. all the way to project level wherever possible. Responsibilities • The QA Tester will aid with all testing and documentation of applications and programs to ensure they are completed in a timely manner within guidelines mutually agreed upon with project/ delivery manager.• The incumbent will be expected to consistently produce high quality results that meet business needs, while assuring the analysis, design, and development are based upon requirements and desired functionality defined by the business and produces quality results that meet business objectives and timelines.• Execute the test cases and provide quality reports to the PO/SM.• Shall write test cases by closely working together with the BA/SM and will co-ordinate with the development team for any bug resolutions• Shall use Azure DevOps to raise the bugs and maintain traceability until completion• Active involvement needed during release windows and post production windows• Verify & Validate process in terms of activities (testing, code inspection, etc.), methods, tools, etc.• Develop, maintain, and implement System/UAT testing strategy, test plans, test processes, test scenarios, and test cases based on CMMI standards• Create test estimation templates, if required• Must have exposure to validating data and BI applications• Must have working knowledge of Business Objects or similar BI tools• Identify test cases and those that can be automation• Create and maintain a business requirement to test result mapping• Work closely with the QA CoE and develop scripts for each of the test cases for automation• Install guide and User manual for the test automation scripts• Provide leadership and “best practices” experience for definition and implementation for the process area• Provide guidance and support to Project Manager for implementing the defined process• Provide necessary training to team members• Reconcile data between source and target systems as part of data migration testing and production cut over• Communicate with Business/Systems Analysts and Developers to understand/clarify requirements• Provide technical information for Change Requests meetings• Participate in systems requirement reviews and team meetings• Participate in production support and troubleshooting• Participate in collection and review of quantitative data related to software testing and development activities for measurement and analysis• Identify, report, and manage defects in defect tracking system• Provide regular updates to the Test/Project Manager• Provide testing status reports per Project requirements and provide input to the Project Plans and Processes• Identify and communicate risks to Project team Skills Must have • Experience with software test suites like Mercury, QTP, Test Director, WinRunner, etc.• 5+ years of progressive testing experience covering manual and automated testing• Exposure to at least one of the BI tools like (Business Objects, Power BI or Tableau will be a big plus• Expertise in writing SQL queries and validating data• Expert understanding of technology environment, such as Oracle , Informatica, Composite, BO etc.• Advanced SQL Skills and Testing of Web Service.
