The position is a key member of the ISS Information Technology team. Corporate Apps are mission critical applications supporting sales, client services, marketing, finance and operation teams ensuring delivery and financial reporting of ISS’s products and services. Responsibilities Proactively engage and support application teams to resolve data and system issues, as well as to seek requirements to improve workflows and functionality. Has ability to review requirements and translate business requirements into testing specifications. Understand and analyze user stories, requirements, or product specifications. Participate in planning activities, providing level of effort estimates. Provide feedback about testability as appropriate Provide feedback about design issues as appropriate. Understand and implement best-fit testing approaches to ensure that applications and new features are working as expected. Create and execute manual tests, ensuring thorough testing of all assigned work. Define comprehensive scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform testing Communicate defects accurately and effectively to the team. Schedule and perform functional, system integration, regression, and release testing. Writing Automation Scripts. Create mock services to test API’s. Communicate bugs and assist with triage of discovered bugs. Perform job duties with minimal supervision, and escalate problems and concerns to leadership Design, document, develop test strategy, test plans and test cases. Conduct day to day production and QA testing activities and verification in Salesforce.com, HubSpot and Financial corporate systems. Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a multi-location team environment Independently research, troubleshoot issues within established Service Level Agreements. Ensure configuration and release management principles are adhered to. Assist in the design and implementation of new testing processes and enhancements. Assist in the testing pre and post-launch support of new functionality and ensure business needs are met and delivered in accordance with business specifications. Communicate with other ISS teams regarding request status, troubleshooting technical issues and finding creative solutions. Leverage industry best practices, tools, frameworks and methods. Possess sense of urgency with real focus on delivery dates and project completion. Comfortable working in an agile development environment with flexible processes and changing requirements. Strong analytical, problem solving and issue resolution skills. Other duties as assigned. Desired Experience And Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher. Must have 5+ years professional experience in an IT organization. Must have 3+ years’ experience with software testing, creation of test cases/script, reporting test metrics and use of testing software applications. Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC and aptitude to identify bugs and strong desire for Quality Hands on scripting and automation experience. Ability to learn new concepts and business processes rapidly. Experience with basic excel data analysis (Formulas, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s etc) Experience developing and delivering solutions to real customer problems, preferably with an emphasis on Sales, Customer Service, and/or Marketing issues. Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to remain calm and focused in a highly pressurized and time orientated environment.
