As an Automation Tester/Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our software testing efforts. You will play a vital role in understanding functional and non-functional feature requirements, creating comprehensive test plans, and building automation test suites for APIs and front-end web applications. Your expertise in NodeJs (TypeScript), Java, Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cucumber, messaging technologies like Kafka, and CI/CD tooling will be essential to ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

- Minimum of 9+ years of relevant experience in automation testing.
- Proficiency in creating comprehensive test plans based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Experience in building automation test suites for APIs using NodeJs (TypeScript) or Java with SuperTest or RestAssured.
- Familiarity with front-end web application test automation using Selenium or NodeJs with WebDriverIO, along with data validation and integration testing.
- Strong understanding and experience with BDD Cucumber framework.
- Experience with integration patterns and messaging technologies, particularly Kafka.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and experience in implementing/integrating test suites.
- Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Jira, CodeFresh, Confluence, and testing tools like Postman.
- Experience in database-related testing activities, including test data preparation.
- Proficiency in using mocking/stubbing or virtualization tools, with a preference for Mountebank.
- Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
Good to Have:
- Experience in performance testing using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, or K6.
- Experience in setting up contract testing using tools like PACT or similar.
- Knowledge of and experience with various testing practices and methodologies.

- Test Planning: Understand functional and non-functional feature requirements and create comprehensive test plans to ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Test Automation: Build automation test suites for APIs using NodeJs (TypeScript) or Java, along with front-end web application test automation using Selenium or NodeJs with WebDriverIO.
- BDD Framework: Implement and utilize BDD Cucumber framework for testing.
