As an Automation Functional Test Lead with banking experience, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Test Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy for banking projects.
- Test Planning: Create detailed test plans that cover functional testing requirements for banking applications and systems.
- Test Case Design: Design and document test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of banking functionalities.
- Automation Testing: Lead and execute automation testing efforts for banking applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Test Execution: Oversee the execution of test cases, both manually and through automation, to validate the functionality and quality of banking software.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams for timely resolution.
- Test Reporting: Generate comprehensive test reports and communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing guidance and support in achieving testing objectives.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and requirements:
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing test strategies for banking projects.
- Deep knowledge of banking processes and applications, including core banking systems, payment processing, and financial transactions.
- Proficiency in test planning, test case design, and test execution for banking applications.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks, with the ability to lead automation efforts.
- Strong defect management skills, with the ability to identify, document, and track defects effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of test engineers.
- Experience in working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams.
