QA Engineer | Dripshop.live | Remote Description Who you are: Passionate about (or excited to learn about) our core collectible categories (Pokémon, Magic, sports cards, and other trading cards) and NFTsQA Engineer with Experience building test automations for startupStructured, process-oriented, and data-drivenExcited to help build something new and define the future of live commerceFlexible, collaborative team player Roles & Responsibilities: Create test strategies for new features and ensure test coverage based on the plan.Identify test gaps and prioritize adding coverage based on areas of risk.Lead test automation implementation and provide guidance on testing approaches for new feature development.Prepare, analyze and report detailed quality health reports to management.Assess & implement new technologies for software development, quality, and CI/CD pipelines.Promote & implement quality processes, practices, and standardization with various teamsDocument product defects and update resolution in the ticket management system, JIRA.Participate in architectural discussions for quality engineering.Take ownership of test failures and ensure the CI system is reliable.Troubleshoot and debug automated test failures within any automation project.Maintain knowledge of current testing approaches, tools, and technologies.Work with engineers to define and implement mechanisms to inject testing earlier into the software development process.Identify and drive the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, testability, and maintainability. Required Non-Negotiable: Bachelor in Software Engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and education in software developmentTeam Lead experience7 or more years overall QA experience3 years of experience writing software automation test code (aapium)Experience in developing automated tests for mobile applications1 year of experience in JavaScriptExperience in testing solution technologiesExperience designing and implementing testing solutions to improve the speed of testing, efficiency, and reliabilityExcellent written and verbal communication skills regarding story pointing/estimation, defects reported, test results, and status.Advanced analytical skills to resolve complex issuesAbility to work on multiple initiatives and prioritize accordingly Benefits: Remote-first company with the opportunity to travel for team meetings and conferencesCompetitive compensationCompetitive equityFlexible PTO
