As a Lead manual QE, you will need to Completely own of all the modules assigned Analyze, design, and make test cases based on system requirements and design specification Work closely with Product Owner, Dev Lead to analyze requirements, specifications and technical design to produce detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases. Responsible for functional testing & non-functional testing Responsible for defect reporting, coordinating with development team, defect tracking, and bug closure etc. Pro-actively sharing and reporting risks, issues, challenges, blockers and forthcoming tasks to the Scrum Master. Delivering the project with the necessary quality standard as per the specifications within the estimated efforts and timelines. Independently estimate, prioritize, execute manual/API test cases. Setup and maintain testing infrastructure Identify quality risk from the QE perspective and work with team on the solution. Foster an environment of teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement. Need to collaborate with automation team to automate and execute test cases Sign off on User Stories, Features and ensure DoD is met on work-items. What would your day look like? 2-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance roles, must be hands-on results/delivery-oriented professional with proven ability to collaborate with high caliber engineering teams Assist with test plan articulation, planning, and management of individual testing events Utilize appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end Quality Assurance Identify testable events and develop test cases / test scripts Identify and capture test data to support test cases defined by the testing team Leverage the testing process and test tool kit to create re-useable test assets Document application changes and developing updates. Able to run automation scenarios. Expertise with SOAP UI, Postman, SQL IDE and mobile preferred. Who are we looking for? Basic Skills 3+ years of experience in implementing and Managing test projects Should have experience with test tools like HP ALM, Azure, Jira Experience in Web / Mobiles based application testing Test plan creation, test case writing and test execution Efficient communication skills to collaborating with product/business and development teams Experience with API testing tools Postman, RestAPI or SOAP Ability to perform sanity, smoke, functional, regression and nonfunctional testing Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL or similar, able to form and execute queries from pgAdmin or similar. Exposure to bug tracking tools like Jira, Azure DevOps Thorough understanding of the role and the place of QA in SDLC, testing processes and methodologies Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment Operate as a part of scrum team and actively participate in sprint planning, demo and retrospective, attend daily standups
